AnnouncementsQ3 - 2005: VirDIS (Virtual Disk Image Server), the new Windows version of the VirtualSCSI Library, is now released. Aimed initially at Audio Recording Engineers it is a general, easy-to-use Windows interface to emulate on a PC 'real' SCSI storage devices like Hard Disk and CD-R. Q3 - 2004: VirtualSCSI support for Fibre Channel, SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and iSCSI will be announced. Product NewsSeptember, 2005: Support for Tagged Queuing added. February, 2004: Support for Linked Commands added. January 2004: For VirtualSCSI developers a unique identification mechanism is now available for tying in with 3rd party-developed VirtualSCSI Target applications. 3rd party products can be programmatically linked only to Target Bus Adapters earmarked for the development firm - other TBAs will fail to work. September 2003: ViSTA source code has been split into separate modules allowing developers to choose a more effective starting platform for their Target application. These modules are:
July 2003: The VirtualSCSI Target Mode Library has added 2 NEW emulations: disk images can now be stored in file-images both locally or over the network. These new emulation features allow users much greater flexibility and mobility in their VirtualSCSI Target solutions. For example, a Target file can thus be viewed as a disk and moved and mounted in different Host hardware and operating system environments.
